- Tema del congresso: Advanced Training Workshop on Psychiatric assessment: New insights from psychosomatic medicine
The Workshop is concerned with the novel techniques and strategies of psychiatric assessment. The faculty will share with the participants how revolutionary techniques of psychiatric and psychological assessment have been developed in psychosomatic medicine. These strategies allow to practice a higher level psychiatry today and do not need to wait for hypothetical advances in neurosciences that so far no one has seen.
The participant will learn to use them in small groups with the help of world-famous clinician-researchers. At the end of the workshop the participant will be able to use the new psychosomatic approach in his/her clinical practice, to enhance clinical effectiveness and to be aware of new treatment opportunities.
The workshop is aimed to physicians or psychologists, with special reference to those who have already achieved or wish to get the title of Psychosomatic Specialist by the International College of Psychosomatic Medicine.
The workshop can be attended jointly to the VII Italian congress of the GRP (November 9-10, 2011).
